Before my oldest was born I never considered co-sleeping an option. In fact, it didn't even occur to me that people slept with their babies. I spent a fortune on doing up her room with new furniture including a crib and the most adorable crib set. When I brought her home from the hospital I did not want to put her down, let alone have her sleep by herself! Co-sleeping made it so easy to nurse at night. I could pretty much nurse her in my sleep. What a lifesaver!
